Enjoy a stroll through the impressive labyrinth of cellar vaults constructed and designed by the engineering genius of Carl Ritter von Ghega. The cellars have a magical flair, and are filled with countless bottles of our liquid gold. Discover the traditional method of sparkling wine making in the unique ambience of Austria’s oldest and biggest sparkling wine cellar. Immerse yourself into the world of sparkling wine and experience a fascinating journey from the grape to the glass.
The 30-45 minute tour of the cellars provides information on the origin of Sparkling Wine and Champagne and explains how the sparkle is born inside the bottle. Try to “hand-riddle” the bottles on the wooden sloping racks and unravel the secret behind disgorging and dosage. Discover the cellar and the history of Schlumberger which dates back to 1842.
Following the tour you have the opportunity to enjoy the full variety of Schlumberger Sparkling Wines at our bar and browse our shop for gifts and souvenirs.

The Rosé Tour offers a unique insight into how grape-variety, maturity and dosage affect the taste of the sparkling wine. After the tour you will enjoy a glass of Rosé Brut Klassik, Pinot Noir Brut Reserve and Rosé Secco.

Connaisseur Tour
The Connaisseur Tour offers a glance into the multifaceted world of Austrian sparkling wine. The tasting includes a glass of Schlumberger Sparkling Brut followed by the two single-varietal specialities Pinot Noir Brut Reserve and Chardonnay Brut Reserve.
